Members & access
Roles, permissions, member management, and per-user credit limits in Kyoso.
Kyoso has two roles: Admin and Editor.
Roles
| Role | Can create boards & content | Can manage users & brands | Can access org settings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Admin | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Editor | Yes | No | No |
Board visibility
There are no per-board permissions. Every user in the org can see every board. You can filter the dashboard by "My boards" (boards you created) or "All boards."
Inviting users
Only Admins can invite. Invites go via email — the invitee authenticates and goes through onboarding. New users join as Editors by default.
Managing members
Admins manage members from Settings → People (or equivalent team management page in organization settings). From here you can:
- Invite new users by email.
- Suspend a user — they keep their account but lose access until reinstated.
- Delete a user — removes their access from the org.
- Change role between Admin and Editor.
- View inline profile fields for each member at a glance.
Per-user credit limits
Admins can set a monthly credit limit for individual users. This caps how much of the org's plan credit pool each user can consume in a billing period.
- Set a per-user limit from the member's row in Settings → People.
- The per-user limit cannot exceed your org's monthly plan cap.
- When a user hits their per-user limit, further generations are blocked until the next billing cycle resets or the limit is raised.
