Plans & billing

How Kyoso subscriptions work — credit-based usage, monthly billing, and how to upgrade, cancel, or contact sales.

Kyoso is sold as a subscription. Each plan includes a defined allotment of usage credits, which you spend as you use AI-powered features (image generation, video generation, AI agent runs). Specific tier pricing will be available soon — email support@kyoso.com for early access or custom pricing.

How billing works

  • Subscriptions auto-renew. Each plan is a recurring subscription that renews automatically at the end of the billing period unless cancelled.
  • Credit-based usage. Plans include a monthly credit allotment, consumed as you use AI features. The exact credit cost of an action depends on the model used, the resolution or duration of the output, and the complexity of the request. See the Credit usage guide for the full breakdown.
  • Provisioned on signup. When an organization is created, a Stripe customer and starter Free credits are seeded automatically, so you can begin generating immediately.
  • Live balance in the sidebar. A persistent credit chip in the sidebar shows your remaining balance at a glance. Enterprise orgs see their actual balance (not "Unlimited") so usage against the committed pool is always visible.
  • Failed actions are auto-refunded. If a generation fails (model error, timeout, etc.), the credits deducted for that action are returned to your balance automatically — no support ticket needed.
  • Roll over. For monthly plans, unused credits may roll over to the next billing period (subject to limits communicated at purchase). For annual contracts, unused credits expire at the end of the committed term. See Terms of Service for the binding rules.

Managing your subscription

All subscription management happens from inside Kyoso: Settings → Billing → Manage billing.

  • Upgrade. Takes effect immediately, with a prorated billing adjustment. The higher tier's credit allotment is added to your balance right away.
  • Downgrade. Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain your current plan's features and credits until then.
  • Cancel. See Cancelling your subscription for the step-by-step flow and what happens after cancellation.
  • Update payment method or download invoices. Same Manage billing button.

Per-user limits

Admins can set a monthly credit limit for individual users so a single member doesn't consume the whole org's pool. Per-user limits cannot exceed the org's monthly plan cap. See Members & access for setup.

Add-on credits

Kyoso does not currently offer one-time add-on credit purchases. If you need more usage than your current plan allows, upgrade to a higher tier.

Enterprise

Enterprise contracts are negotiated with the Kyoso team and may include custom credit pools, on-demand overage billing for usage beyond the committed pool, and committed annual terms. Email support@kyoso.com to talk with our team.
