Brands and the Brand Agent

A brand in Kyoso is a trained AI identity that steers image and video generation toward your organization's visual style.

What it is

A brand in Kyoso is a core organizational unit. Each brand holds its own boards, a trained brand agent, uploaded assets, and image styles. You upload brand guidelines (PDF), logos, fonts, and composition examples, and Kyoso trains a brand agent that steers image and video generation toward your brand's visual style.

Key ideas

  • Brand as structure — the org contains one or more brands; each brand contains boards, assets, styles, and its trained agent
  • Brand guidelines PDF — the core training document; uploading a new PDF retrains the brand agent
  • Minimum assets — at minimum, a brand needs a guidelines PDF, one logo (SVG), one font (TTF or OTF), and one ad or composition asset (PNG) to be useful
  • Training time — typically 10–60 minutes depending on the amount of data; Kyoso is continuously reducing this
  • Training costs credits — kicking off brand-agent training consumes credits from your org's plan pool; the submit action is gated on having enough credits and links you to the dashboard if you don't
  • Retraining — uploading a new guidelines PDF retrains the agent; in the near future you'll be able to edit data and upload additional documents without starting from scratch
  • Training failure — if training fails, you'll see the status in the processing queue widget on the brand agent page; try again, and Kyoso will explain the reason when possible
  • Brand fonts on the canvas — fonts uploaded to your brand are selectable from the typography panel in board mode and focus mode, alongside system fonts

How it fits with the rest of Kyoso

The brand agent adds a layer of brand knowledge on top of Kyoso's base agent, making every generation on that brand's boards brand-aware. Brand assets also appear in the Brand Assets library. Brand management is done by Admins in the Brand Hub, accessible from the dashboard.
